Production Methods: Crossflow fan wheels are typically produced using sheet metal stamping, which involves cutting and bending a flat sheet of metal into the desired shape of the impeller. The metal sheets are then welded together to form the fan wheel, which is then balanced to ensure smooth operation.

There are several different methods for producing crossflow fan wheels, including,  injection molding, and extrusion. The choice of production method depends on a number of factors, including the required size and shape of the fan wheel, the desired material properties, and the quantity of fan wheels that need to be produced.

Types:

There are two main types of crossflow fan wheels: forward-curved and backward-curved. Forward-curved impellers have blades that curve in the direction of the airflow, while backward-curved impellers have blades that curve away from the direction of the airflow.

Crossflow fan wheels come in a variety of types, each of which is suited for different applications. Some of the most common types include:

1.Straight fan wheels: These fan wheels have straight blades that extend radially from the circumference of the wheel. They are simple and cost-effective to produce, and are well-suited for applications where low noise levels are not a priority.

2.Semicircular fan wheels: These fan wheels have blades that are curved in a semicircular shape. They are more efficient and quieter than straight fan wheels, and are commonly used in HVAC systems.

3.Double-sided fan wheels: These fan wheels have blades on both sides of the wheel, allowing them to move air in two directions. They are useful in applications where air needs to be moved back and forth, such as in some types of air curtains.

Design Concern:

Crossflow fan wheels have a number of capabilities, including the ability to produce high airflow rates with minimal noise production. They are also capable of operating in environments with high temperatures and corrosive gases. In addition, crossflow fan wheels can be designed to produce a specific amount of pressure, making them suitable for use in a variety of applications.

In terms of size, crossflow fan wheels can range from a few inches to several feet in diameter, and can be designed to handle airflows ranging from a few cubic feet per minute (CFM) to tens of thousands of CFM. Some crossflow fan wheels are also designed for specific applications, such as those used in clean room environments or for use with high-efficiency particulate air (HEPA) filters.

Our fan impeller is available in both 230V and, upon request, 12V-24V DC. The housing construction allows for the motor to be mounted in four positions: 0°, 90°, 180°, and 270°. Here are some important features of our fans:
